AUXOLOGICO AND COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
The conference is part of Auxologico's broader initiative to mitigate environmental impact. Since 2022, we have been members, among the first Italian organizations, of the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals network by HealthCare Without Harm, an international NGO working to make the healthcare sector more environmentally sustainable.
This is a global community of over 1600 healthcare institutions in more than 70 countries working to improve the environmental sustainability of their facilities and promote this culture within their environments. Auxologico, a research and care institute, aims to be a leading and responsible actor in changing the approach to sustainable resource use and setting a positive example for other healthcare organizations, our suppliers, our patients, and the business community.
A key element of Auxologico's commitment is the establishment of a Green Team, which has defined action priorities and developed specific projects, including reducing special and urban waste, raising awareness, reducing energy consumption, and forming partnerships with the supply chain and other healthcare operators.
