Most Operational Units managed under the direction of the University, several national and international scientific collaborations and the development and implementation of multidisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic pathways for the treatment of complex endocrine and metabolic diseases make Auxologico an acknowledged point of reference in this field.

The main activities refer to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hormonal disorders and metabolism diseases, fertility disorders, nutrition and growth disorders, thyroid diseases.

Auxologico boasts specific expertise in the field of severe obesity in adults and minors, including Eating Disorders, diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid diseases and rare endocrine diseases. Highly specialized centers are dedicated to these diseases.

These activities are carried out in outpatient clinics, in Day Hospitals, MACs, and as inpatient treatments.
